Stemninger og dønninger (Mood and Swells) This year`s most beautiful Christmas album, as well as the New Year`s album, and spring and summer album. Yes it is suitable all year round and it is guaranteed free of Santa Claus. But we must warn you:
The album is instrumental with one exception: Mjuk Vind (Soft Wind). Our musicians have been allowed to express themselves within a repertoire that has mainly two themes, love and the sea. It is not the great love or the stormy sea being called upon, but the pristine feelings without the major peaks, the wave peaks....... This is a romantic album, a album you can cry to if it`s what you need, or you can just enjoy, or use it to wind doen after a long working day. This is an album you never get bored of because you`ll constantly find new favourites. Sørum Album? Sure, you can call it that, although it is very international and timeless, and include members from at least half around the planet. The album has a great association with Sørum though. And what a community Sørum is, with such musicians we (in sørum) almost can call our own! Harald Næss (trumpet) was born and
raised in Sørumsand. Nozomi Kinomura (viola) married to
Harald, and Håkon Nilsen (clarinet) is Harald`s brother-in-law.
Magnar Osland (piano) is well known in Sørum, and he
still lives in the community. Sverre Ingjer was born and
raised in Blaker (also Sørum), and it is amazing what a
CPA from the countryside of Blaker can do with a guitar!
Jan Moe (bass) has lived in the community in a generation,
and he was earlier the manager of Duo Music in Fokus.
Arve Johansen (accordion) lives in Fetsund (nabour-community),
but he has been manager in our local bank, Blaker
Sparebank. The choir, Gjerdrum Bygdekor had its conductor
from Sørum when "Mjuk vind" was recorded. Her
name is Svallaug Gjersvoll, now living in Frogner and
conducting Fraunakoret. Ellen and Johannes Næss (producers
of this cd) were also members of this choir when the song
was recorded. The record company JNMusikk has the address
in Sørumsand so that everything is planned and organized
there.
Mjuk Vind (Soft Wind) is
recorded in Gjerdrum Church. Summertime is recorded in
Kyoto Symphony Rehearsel Studio, Japan. The other songs
are recorded in Quille Recording Studio, Fetsund. CD is
produced and mixed in Quille Recording Studio. Mastering:
Lydmuren AS, Oslo. Cover and producer JNMusikk. CD cost Nkr 150, event. shipping/postage as well Order here: allsang@allsang.no
